Our story

Why Maa Palle? “Maa Palle” means my village.

The name “Maa Palle“ was chosen with two things in mind. India is a microcosm of villages. An Indian village is a symbol of authentic native traditions, rich culture and heritage. 70% of the Indian population lives in villages only. Indian villages are self sufficient with its food crops and artisans practicing craft trades like carpentry, pottery and are usually isolated from the urban life.

People in villages take care of one another, follow traditions and rituals with utmost sincerity. They resolve their issues amicably and maintain peace and social order. India has sustained its ancient cultures despite so many foreign invasions and various regimes because of the strong village practices and rituals that bound everyone to maintain the harmony. The people celebrate various festivals with so much exuberance and enthusiasm. The joint family system ensures continuation of rituals and tradition from one generation to the next.

We dreamed about the four pillars concept to build a free will society where Agriculture & Conservation of nature, Social Services, Culture & Religious activities and Literature will lead to meaningful participation at all levels and evolving of the community.

Agriculture

The discovery of natural agriculture was the first big step toward a civilized life.

Culture & Religious

There is a sense of pride associated with the country’s rich religious history.

Social Service

We believe in Social service to retain our culture and community values. To safeguard and promote healthcare to women and children through ayurvedic medicines and education.

Literature

Philosophical writings, such genres as devotional lyrics, poetry, plays, and narrative folktales emerged.

Purpose of Trust:

We were born and brought up in Narsingapally village, adjacent to Nizamabad district, Telangana, India. Our childhood experiences were so rich of Indian traditions with its diversity and unity of various sects, castes and religions. We are privileged to be part of our village culture that gave us so many lasting beautiful memories. To express our gratitude to our villages, Maa Palle charitable trust was established. We chose four ways to create awareness and provide an opportunity for everyone to be a part of these activities.

Our leadership

A good objective of leadership is to help those who are doing poorly to do well and to help those who are doing well to do even better.

Our Work

“All the wealth of the world cannot help one little Indian village if the people are not taught to help themselves. Our work should be mainly educational, both moral and intellectual”. – By Swami Vivekananda
