Spirituality means a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself. It is primarily about a belief in God and active participation in religious actiivities. In India, spiritualism is a heritage as well as a continuous tradition. The main sources of Indian spiritualism is a form of philosophy, darshana or sight, and the Upanishads. Indian civilisation is a rich storehouse of spiritual knowledge and wisdom. In fact, spirituality is the soul of India. Serving the god brings out the spiritual growth.
Maapalle trust members took the initiative in building a temple ‘Induru Tirumala’ in 2006. After overcoming many hurdles and rejections on the path, construction of the temple was started in 2009 and completed in March 2014.
Induru Tirumala is a temple of Lord Venkateswara ( Lord Balaji). This temple was built under the auspices of Tirumala temple sthapathi (architecture) advisor. One of the significance of this temple is that hundreds of devotees have dedicated themselves and their man hours to construct the temple. The excavation work, removal of stones, laying of bricks, and the laying of foundation and the main pillars of the temple were done manually by all the devotees. With this, we can understand the strength of togetherness, which can be seen the most in village people.
All special poojas and sevas, as performed in famous or well-known Tirupati Temple, are performed here. The daily sevas in the temple are Suprabhatham Seva, Ekantha Seva and Archana with Sahasranamam.
Among all special poojas, Brahmotsavam iis performed at the temple during March or April every year. Ekantha seva is performed every saturday evening. Poorabhishekam and Kankanadhaarana is performed every monday to the god’s tree. Kalyanam is performed every month on sravana nakshatra day and Mahabhogi and goda kalyanam are performed for every sankranthi.
